Welcome
Why did we choose the name ‘Bohemian Palace’? ~
Bohemian by definition is a community of like-minded people who practice unconventional and un-orthodoxed political and social viewpoints. Often these views are expressed through free love and frugality.
Palace refers to a grand space where ruler resides or a beautiful space for entertainment.
...
At Bohemian Palace we wish to encompass both sides by creating a beautiful meeting space for a spiritual community where we are the rulers or ‘God's and Goddess' of our own palace (bodies). Bohemian Palace encourages different viewpoints, paths and beliefs. We believe that all paths lead to the same source therefore we can all share the same beautiful space and learn from each beautiful person and their free expression.
Part of our goal is to create a space that is pleasant, healthy and eco-friendly without bringing in commercialism, faddism and overly expensive products. We have aimed to use as many renewed, reused, recycled or eco-friendly products as possible. We ask that plastic bottles are not brought into the studio as we provide glasses and free water if you forget your own.
Our vision for Bohemian Palace is a peaceful, welcoming, eclectic space for all people to enjoy. We invite you to feel ‘at home’ while you explore Spirituality and Self through Yoga, movement, community, workshops, natural healing, counseling and music.
We welcome all ages of all walks of life. We aim to offer classes and workshops at the most affordable costs with teachers and leaders whose heart's desire is to guide, inspire and share their wisdom. As Bohemian Palace grows we pass the growth to our teachers. Our goal is for our teachers and students to feel connected and to know that they are a most integral part of the community. Without them our mission could not be filled.
It is our goal to make these experiences available to all who wish to attend through community classes (free), donation classes and workshops in addition to our already low cost classes and memberships. Due to our location we are able to offer our programs at much lessor cost than other studios while still offering quality programming.
We look forward to welcoming you into our community with open arms!
Namaste
